The Armorel School District will remain closed through Friday, April 17th. As we move forward through these unconventional times, teachers will be meeting and addressing instructional procedures. Plans regarding upcoming school activities/events (prom, graduation, etc.) will continue, and rescheduling will proceed as needed. Students are to continue completing AMI assignments. Although next week is Spring break, we will keep you updated via our District website and Facebook page. Please be safe, and continue to monitor our communication here for further updates.

Please bare in mind that during this time of school closure our facilities are not to be used. No sports practices of any kind, no open gyms, and no use of baseball/softball fields. Our facilities are in the process of being heavily cleansed and sanitized. Thank you!

If you can access AMI via the internet, there is no additional work in a packet to pick up. If you can’t print, students may answer on notebook paper for full credit.

The Armorel School District will be closed Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27.  For the dates of March 16-19, we will be using AMI days.  March 23-27 will be Spring Break, as scheduled.  AMI packets will be available through Google classroom, Class Tag or for pick-up between 8:00 and 10:00 on Monday, March 16 at the school. Administration, custodial, food service, and maintenance staff should report to work Monday, March 16 to assist with preparation and planning to continue supporting our students during this time. Further actions will be evaluated over the next two weeks and communicated at that time. To stay informed on this matter, we encourage using a reputable source such as www.CDC.gov.  Our School District will continue to leverage our school website and Facebook to inform our students and parents of additional information. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we all navigate this unprecedented situation.

Attention Armorel Family: we would just like to inform you of the precautions we are trying to take daily in the classrooms. Our staff is provided wet wipes to wipe off their tabletops and chairs. Students are encouraged to wash their hands with soap and water throughout the day. They are also provided hand sanitizer to keep their hands clean. We have talked about ways to keep from spreading germs (keeping hands away from our face, cover our cough/sneeze, how to properly wash hands, etc.). Lysol and disinfectant are also being sprayed in the classrooms and throughout the campus to help with airborne germs. Our classrooms are being cleaned throughout the day by our custodial staff. We know there is a lot of talk and panic about viruses and sickness going around. If your child is experiencing any symptoms or feels sick, please keep them home to keep from spreading any sickness. Also, they must be fever free for 24 hours without taking any medication before they may return to school. We just wanted to reassure you that precautions are being taken and we have your child's health as our top priority! Thank you for your understanding and help in this matter!
