No school on Monday, September 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.Classes resume September 8, 2020. @aestigers
Reminder: Students who are doing virtual work need to stay on pace and be in contact with their teachers daily. For those who will return to campus, your work needs to be complete before your return. All work assigned will be graded and zeros will be given for not complete. Per handbook. students with unexcused absences can only receive 50% credit on all assignments missed on those unexcused days. We understand that with virtual learning, issues arise that make completing assignments on time difficult. Because of this, it is imperative that you contact your teachers and the administration so we can support. It is easier to handle issues on the front end rather than the back end.

Updated High School Morning Parking Procedures:
*All Student temperature checks will occur at the crosswalk near the Awning/Commons.
*Students being dropped off need to stay in the vehicle until checked.
*Student drivers will park and walk up to the crosswalk for their check.
*Student drop offs will all occur under the awning at the crosswalk.
*Once temperatures are checked, students will proceed to their designated entrance.
*Please utilize both lanes at the student drop off to decrease waiting time for your students temperature check.

Water bottle filling stations (motion-activated) are available for elementary students throughout the school day.
Typical water fountains will not be used.

Due to Covid restrictions, parents will not be allowed to go to classrooms at morning drop-off. Students will be guided to classrooms as they arrive. Pre-K students will be signed in by Mrs. Turner & escorted by staff to their classroom. We thank you in advance for your support.

Excited for school
As many of you may know, today during the Governor's press release, a COVID-19 map was released with a color coded percentage rate of COVID-19 cases. Armorel is currently in the yellow, but surrounded by districts that have higher rates. At this time, Armorel School District will proceed with our district's plan for face-to-face instruction beginning Monday morning. EVERYONE, please continue to help keep our numbers low by wearing a mask and social distancing. As long as we can keep our numbers low, we will be able to continue with face-to-face instruction.
Reminder: Student drivers and anyone visiting the high school or gym need to use the middle driveway for parking. Please be sure to check in with the front office before continuing on campus. Keep our campus safe and wear a mask.
