This groundbreaking day has been a long-term goal of the Armorel School District. Our school board has always had the interest of our students at the forefront of the decisions they make. This initiative is to provide a safer learning environment for both our students and our staff. Through this project, we will join our two existing high school buildings which will allow us to better utilize three of our classrooms and the library. We will also gain a safe room at the high school campus, as well as a new entrance specifically for visitors. This project heightens our security and enhances the learning environment for our students.

Thanksgiving break is just around the corner!

Ground breaking day!

The regular scheduled school board meeting originally scheduled for December 10th, has been moved to December 3rd.

Today, AHS students had an awesome experience at Steel School! They dove into the steel-making process, guided by Nucor-Yamato employees. Those who were 18 enjoyed a walking tour of the mill, the rest of the group enjoyed a ride-along tour, offering a unique perspective of the facility's operations. A huge thank you to Nucor-Yamato for opening the doors to potential careers!

Lunch bills are going out today. Please make sure to check your child's backpack and contact Gina Warhurst with any questions.

Today and periodically throughout the year, our bus routes will have varying drop-off times. This could be slightly earlier or later than normal. On days where our Tigers are participating in various activities, our bus drivers are limited. We will call these bus routes “Tiger Trail Detour Routes.” We will do our best to give ample warning, however unforeseen circumstances may arise. We apologize for the short notice. Thank you for your understanding.

Get ready for an exciting day at Armorel tomorrow! Join us at 3:00 p.m. in the High School Commons for a Parent & Community Volunteer Meeting. Afterward, enjoy a delicious FBLA Pancake Dinner in the cafeteria, then head over to cheer on the Tigers as they take on Palestine-Wheatley in a 4-game showdown. The Jr. Lady Tigers begin at 4:30 p.m.! 🐾

Congratulations to our homecoming maids!
