Congratulations to Grayson Seibert on being named one of less than 5,000 candidates in the U.S Presidential Scholars Program. Inclusion in this program is one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating high school seniors. Way to go Grayson!

All basketball games scheduled for tonight Jan. 24th with KIPP have been cancelled due to COVID related circumstances.
KIPP will not be able to play their junior girls game tonight. That game has been cancelled. The junior boys and senior boys game WILL be played with the junior boys beginning at 5:00 pm tonight.
Armorel School District would like to welcome you as we celebrate our senior athletes on Friday, January 28, 2022. The presentation will be held between the junior boys and senior girls game. This will be a 4 game night with the first game being the junior girls beginning at 4:00 pm.

Due to the rise of positive COVID and quarantine cases, the Armorel School District will be pivoting to AMI learning for the remainder of the week (Jan 19 – Jan. 21). Normal classes will resume on Monday, January 24. As always, thank you for your support and understanding as we continue to navigate through these extremely difficult times.
Unfortunately due to the rise of Covid related cases in area schools, the First National Bank Tournament in Corning has been cancelled. No games for the Armorel Lady Tigers this week.
The games scheduled to be played at CRA tonight have been postponed and will now be played on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Please see the attached link for an updated schedule of the remainder of games to be played.

With the rise in COVID-19 , several local school districts have moved to remote learning. At this time, Armorel School District plans to continue to be in session beginning Tuesday, January 18, 2022 as scheduled.
While our state numbers are on the rise, the COVID cases within the district are lower. Currently, we are able to provide supervision that allows for the academic needs and the safety of our students.
A decision to pivot to remote learning will only be made if absences among our teachers and staff compromise the education and/or safety and supervision of students OR if student sickness rates escalate.
We are closely monitoring the situation. If there is a need for closure, we will give our school community as much notice as possible.
We appreciate your patience as we work to make the best decisions for our students and staff.
The Armorel School District will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022, in observance of the Dr. King Holiday.
Due to a team dropping out of the Corning Tournament the bracket has changed. The Sr Lady Tigers will now play Maynard on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 6 pm. The attached image is the new bracket for this tournament.
Due to the increase in sickness, the Elementary Girls basketball game for tomorrow, Jan. 15th has been cancelled.
The boys games with Cooter scheduled for Monday Jan. 17th have been cancelled due to COVID related issues. As of now, a make up date has not been scheduled. Thanks for your understanding!
The Jr/Sr high girls basketball games scheduled for tomorrow , Friday Jan. 14th, against Hillcrest have been rescheduled for Feb. 3rd due to COVID related issues. This will be a 4 game night starting at 4:00pm. As always, thank you for your understanding and continued support!
The game scheduled to be played by the Armorel Sr Lady Tigers will now be played at 5 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Corning. The attached image is the updated bracket for this tournament.
The Sr Lady Tiger's game against Corning scheduled for the Saturday has been postponed. We will play them on Wednesday, January 19th.
The boys games with Hillcrest for this Friday have been postponed until Thursday Feb 3. at Armorel. Jr boys game will start at 4:00pm followed by the Sr boys. This change has been made due to COVID related issues.
