Due to inclement weather and road conditions, Armorel School District will not be in session on Wednesday, February 19th. Any future updates on closures will be sent out via phone and Facebook.
The Armorel School District has made the decision to dismiss at 2pm today, February 18th so that parents have plenty of time to make arrangements and our Tiger family will have ample time to get home safely. Madalynn Moore and Baylee VanDyke recently competed at GIRL POWER GOES STATE at ASU-Newport.
This competition celebrates and empowers young women in skilled trades by providing a platform to showcase their talents in design, engineering, and craftsmanship. With industry partners serving as judges, students competed in categories like laser, metal CNC, and multi-tool fabrication.
Madalynn Moore placed 2nd in the Laser division with her maple plywood purse featuring living hinges and a hand-drawn, laser-etched design. To add a unique feature, she hand-strung the strap with glass beads. She won $100 and a pair of Beats Earbuds and will advance to the state competition on February 26 to compete against top students from across Arkansas!
Baylee VanDyke also represented Armorel with a modern, custom phone charging and jewelry stand made from clear acrylic. She personalized it by engraving her name and filling it in with red for contrast!
We are so proud of these talented young women who showcased their skills last week. Good luck at state, Madalynn!
Congratulations to the Armorel Junior High Quiz Bowl team on finishing Runner Up in the Junior High State Championship! Their hard work and preparation paid off today! 🏆

Congratulations to Jackson Welch on his upcoming signing with the Williams Baptist University golf team. The signing will take place this Friday, February 14th at 1pm in the high school commons.

Our JR Tigers and Lady Tigers will compete in the 1A-3 District Basketball Tournament on Monday February 10 at the Luxora Recreation Center! The JR Tigers will play either Maynard or Marked Tree at 5:00pm followed by our JR Lady Tigers vs Maynard!
